Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer Halloween Design Contest with prizes from Nintendo! (CANADA ONLY)

How to Enter

To enter the contest, you just need to design a spooky Halloween room inside of Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer on the Nintendo 3DS. You don’t need to use the actual Halloween themed items either — it’s acceptable as long as it gives off a spooky, creepy, or Halloween vibe. There’s endless unique possibilities in Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer, so be creative and think outside the box of just the standard Halloween items!

When you’ve designed your room, take a screenshot and upload it to Miiverse in-game. Then head to Miiverse on your phone or computer, find your post, and submit your entry by completing the contest entry form located here. We’ll be judging by the screenshot, so be smart about the angle you choose!

Prizes

After the contest closes to entries on October 27th, our panel (Justin with help of some moderators from The Bell Tree Forums) will pick out our five favourite entries to go live on a public poll on the website on October 31st. The winner of the poll will receive five packs of Animal Crossing amiibo cards, while the runner ups in the poll will receive three packs each.

Not too confident in your designing skills? Have no fear! We have another thirty packs available which will be sent to thirty lucky random participants who submitted an entry and didn’t make it into the poll. Just enter the contest for a chance to win a free pack of Animal Crossing amiibo cards!

Rules and Tips

Design a Halloween themed room in Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer, upload it with a screenshot to Miiverse, and submit your entry by completing the contest entry form located here.
One entry per person, and original entries of your own creation please.
We will use the screenshot posted to judge the room, so be strategic and careful with your choice of angle! Use the Happy Home Camera for better photos too.
You can choose to design the outside instead of the interior as your “room” if you wish.
To avoid having to use the required items in boxes, you can place them in the opposite area you are designing.
If you don’t yet own Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer, a Miiverse screenshot of an Animal Crossing: New Leaf room following the theme can be accepted instead.
Nintendo of Canada are providing the prizes for this contest on the house to us and can only ship to Canadian addresses, so please save us the trouble and enter only if you reside within Canada!
