Animal Crossing: New Leaf suspiciously missing from Nintendo’s Q1 releases

It’s been speculated for a while but now it’s been confirmed that Animal Crossing: New Leaf won’t be releasing in the first quarter of 2013. (January-March) Nintendo published a press release yesterday with the full Q1 lineup for North America on 3DS and Wii U with New Leaf missing entirely from the list. Brain Age™: Concentration Training – Feb. 10
Fire Emblem Awakening – Feb. 4
LEGO®  City Undercover: The Chase Begins – April 21
Luigi’s Mansion™: Dark Moon – March 24
Pokémon™ Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity – March 24

Wii U
LEGO® City: Undercover – March 18

Although not fully confirmed yet, we can assume now that Animal Crossing: New Leaf will be releasing in the second quarter (April-June) of 2013 in both North America and Europe as previously announced.

Hopefully games such as Fire Emblem and Luigi’s Mansion will keep 3DS owners satisfied until Q2 2013. Discuss away in the comments below about the upcoming releases!
