Children’s Day is a Japanese holiday and event in Animal Crossing: New Leaf occurring on May 5th, part of the Golden Week in Japan. There are three opportunities with the Children’s Day event in Animal Crossing: New Leaf. They’re all after the break:

Head over to the Town Tree for two of these! First, speak with Isabelle and she will give you a Newsprint Helmet to wear on your head. Second, walk over to the special Children’s Day face board and pose for a commemorative screenshot photo!

Finally, the Carp Banner furniture item is available for purchase from the Nooklings store May 1st through May 5th for the event.

Unfortunately for most of us, Children’s Day is an exclusive holiday to Japanese towns in Animal Crossing: New Leaf. If you have a friend with the Japanese game, you can visit their town on the day to receive the items yourself.
