We wish we knew what the hell is happening in this Japanese New Leaf commercial with Kyary Pamyu Pamyu

Even though it’s been two and a half years since Animal Crossing: New Leaf first launched in Japan, Nintendo is still promoting it alongside a sale with a new commercial this week featuring… Kyary Pamyu Pamyu?

Who? Kyary Pamyu Pamyu is best known for her viral music video PON PON PON from a few years back. She’s done a few other commercials previously with Nintendo as well, including a great one for the new Nintendo 3DS.

Perhaps we’ll see her do a commercial for either Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer or Animal Crossing: amiibo Festival as well when they launch later this year.
