Be a squid and a kid in the updated Splatoon Nintendo dream village in Animal Crossing: New Leaf

Nintendo’s official dream village in Animal Crossing: New Leaf has received a particularly messy update this week with ink spotted all over the walkways.

What’s the occasion? To promote the recently released Wii U game Splatoon, a few updates have been made to the long running Nintendo Dream Village in Animal Crossing: New Leaf which Nintendo updates from time to time. Previous updates have included Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker, Super Mario 3D World, and Tomodachi Life.

All of the Splatoon related patterns used in the village have been uploaded to Nintendo’s website as well with QR codes included, so you can use them yourself in your own town if you so desire.
