Official Animal Crossing amiibo cards Collectors Album in Europe delayed until post-launch

A short delay for the release of the previously announced official Animal Crossing amiibo cards Collectors Album has been announced by Nintendo.
The Animal Crossing amiibo cards Collectors Album looked pretty fantastic last time we got a look at it, but unfortunately Nintendo has published notice of a delay on the official UK Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer website.
Here’s the notice of delay as of September 22nd:
Regrettably there has been a delay in the delivery of the Animal Crossing amiibo cards Collectors Album, which we’re now looking to make available in limited quantities a few weeks later than the originally planned 2nd October launch date. Please stay tuned to @NintendoUK on Twitter for the latest updates.
It looks like we can expect the album to arrive sometime in late October with limited quantities. There’s still no word of an overseas release either, so the demand from importers in other regions is likely to make those already limited quantities even worse.
The album is slated to include slots for all 100 Animal Crossing amiibo Cards in the first series with a lovely Animal Crossing themed design. A free pack of cards is packaged in as well. Check out our previous articles (announcement, closer look) on the item for more information.
We’ll keep you up to date as soon as we get further word on a new release date, or spot any pre-orders live at a retailer.
Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer launches in North America in just a few days on September 25th, and Europe on October 2nd! Check out our release date countdown here, or pre-order the game and accessories here.
