Hey Canadians: Nintendo of Canada is holding Nintendo Day 2.0 today with the release of two new games, two new amiibo, and a selection of deals at various retailers!

We usually don’t post these sorts of things, but there’s some pretty good deals here especially with the Buy 2, Get 1 Free on amiibo at Toys R Us.

Nintendo Day returns this November 20 with Nintendo Day 2.0!

 

To celebrate, Nintendo is launching great games and showcasing amazing deals and amiibo exclusives to kick start your holiday shopping.

 

Up the ante on family game night with the launch of the ultra-fun Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash for the Wii U, where up to four players of all skill levels will be able to volley, slice and lob with some of Nintendo’s most classic characters using some outrageous powered-up moves. And for Pokémon fans everywhere, the player will be transformed into one of 20 Pokémon as they set out on an adventure in a world inhabited solely by Pokémon when Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon for Nintendo 3DS hits store shelves.

 

Nintendo Day marks the one year anniversary of amiibo, and with this, Nintendo has re-released some amiibo fan favourites including Charizard, Little Mac, Greninja, and Falco at select retailers. Making their debuts on Nintendo Day are Mew Two, Mii Fighters 3-pack and Green Yarn Yoshi.

 

Nintendo Day wouldn’t be complete without some amazing deals – here’s a look at what’s hitting shelves today:

 

When you purchase any Wii U console at EB Games you’ll receive a FREE Falco amiibo.* Trade-in five qualifying games to receive a $100 trade-in credit against the Wii U. Zelda fans can get the Hyrule Edition New Nintendo 3DS XL for $159.99 with trade-in.

 

Toys “R” Us is offering Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS for free with purchase of a New Nintendo 3DS XL. Amiibo fans can buy two amiibo and get the third amiibo for free, also at Toys “R” Us.**
