My Nintendo has launched in North America and Europe; get 15% off Animal Crossing: New Leaf in NA

Nintendo’s long awaited loyalty rewards program replacing Club Nintendo has finally launched this week in the form of My Nintendo!

In this new rewards program, points can be earned by both playing Nintendo’s new mobile game Miitomo, as well as purchasing games on the Nintendo eShop. It’s also easy to earn free points on a weekly basis by just logging into the eShop, Miiverse, My Nintendo, and the main Nintendo website.

On the rewards side of the program, it’s unfortunately a digital only affair this time around. There are however some new interesting rewards in the form of free themes and discount coupons for other games. A free original Twilight Princess Picross game is available as well, alongside a DSiWare port of the Nintendo DS game WarioWare: Touched!

In fact, one of these discount coupons in North America happens to be a 15% off discount coupon for Animal Crossing: New Leaf on the eShop, something sure to appeal to our readers. Even if you already own a physical copy of the game, picking a second copy on the eShop can be quite enjoyable for a fresh start in Animal Crossing building a new town without having to say goodbye to your previous work.

We haven’t seen a similar coupon for New Leaf available in Europe at this time, but we expect the discount coupons to rotate out on a monthly basis. Likewise, the coupon in North America is set to disappear on May 1st, so don’t forget if you’re interested!
