Three Animal Crossing: New Leaf DLC items returning via Nintendo Zones in North America

After a long hiatus throughout most of the year, some Animal Crossing: New Leaf content is back at Nintendo Zone locations for the remainder of December 2016 and January 2017!

No entirely new items are available in this announcement, but three previously distributed items are returning to Nintendo Zones, with one never having been officially released in North America before.

Currently being distributed right now is the Japanese 7-Eleven Barbeque Bed item, which has never been released in North America officially before for Animal Crossing: New Leaf. It was released in Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer for English audiences, likely explaining the release in New Leaf now. This item cannot be re-ordered from the catalog.

Following the Barbeque Bed, the Kadomatsu item will become available from January 1st to January 15th. This item was previously released for North America back in December 2013, and is now back. The Kadomatsu can be re-ordered from the catalog.

Finally, the First Sunrise Lamp will be available from January 16th to January 31st. It was previously released for North America in January 2014, but you can grab it again now if you missed it the first time. This item can be re-ordered from the catalog.

Remember that you must connect your Nintendo 3DS to a Nintendo Zone Wi-Fi point (find one here), then speak to the character at the Post Office about a present in order to receive these items.
