Sanrio Character Collection #2 with Pompompurin and My Melody begins in Pocket Camp

The second part of Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp’s Sanrio Character Collection event has begun with more fortune cookies and a crafting collection!

With today’s update to the event, we have two new Sanrio fortune cookies with items for Pompompurin and My Melody. Fitting the character’s themes, they’re both very yellow and very pink!

Take a look at the complete item lists for each cookie, accompanied by a photo:

Pompompurin Fortune Cookie

• Pompompurin table
• Pompompurin chair
• Pompompurin rack

 My Melody Fortune Cookie

In addition to the items from the two fortune cookies, another set of items can be grabbed via crafting in the latest Sanrio Characters Crafting Collection:

• Pompompurin floor
• My Melody wall
• My Melody floor

And just like the first part of the Sanrio event, there is a new set of Event Goals offering one of each fortune cookie for free, and scavenger maps to unlock both Marty and Chelsea as villagers.

Don’t forget that coming soon in Early August, the third and final part of Sanrio Character Collection will arrive bringing another two more fortune cookies with Little Twin Stars and Kerokerokeroppi!

Beyond the excitement in Pocket Camp, we have to wonder what this might mean for the potential of Sanrio collaboration villagers and items in the upcoming Animal Crossing: New Horizons releasing on Nintendo Switch next year.

It’s been thought that the collaboration license was a one-time partnership for New Leaf with little luck for future releases but it looks like there’s definitely potential now for inclusion in New Horizons!
