Brand new screenshots have been revealed for Witchbrook, an upcoming magic school life simulator with many similarities to games like Stardew Valley!

Witchbrook has been in development for years going back to the initial reveal in 2017, but the developer Chucklefish is finally ready to begin showing the game off again with the release of three gorgeous new screenshots showcasing an updated art style.

While details still remain light, Witchbrook will be a magical school and town life simulator where you’ll be able to attend classes, go fishing, farm crops, forage for mushrooms, and build relationships with fellow students and townsfolk.

Check out all three screenshots below, and click on them for the full-resolution versions:

There’s only so much that you can take from visual screenshots without gameplay, but we definitely see big potential for Witchbrook’s future and look forward to more information being shared on the game including gameplay videos.

Currently, there is no set release date Witchbrook and the developer Chucklefish warns that the release remains “quite a while off yet”, but they’re working hard and updates will be provided when they can.

While we obviously love Animal Crossing here at Animal Crossing World, there’s definitely quite a lot of overlap between fans of Animal Crossing and fans of games like Stardew Valley and Harvest Moon. Let us know if you’d like to see us cover this game in the future, or if you’re not interested at all.
