First look at the new Animal Crossing: New Horizons Manga series, some new villager renders

Last month, a new official manga series for Animal Crossing: New Horizons was announced to be released in the Ciao magazine and now it’s finally here for us to see!

Our first look at this new manga titled ‘Gather Animal’s Forest: Carefree Island News’ comes from YouTuber StarlitGlitch who got her hands on a copy of the latest Ciao magazine issue, which contains the manga inside.

As we learned with the original announcement, the series follows a new protagonist named Hana as she wins a lottery for a free vacation to a deserted island. This first chapter covers Hana following Timmy & Tommy down a hole into the world of Animal Crossing.

Beyond the manga itself, there’s also a brief page at the end advertising the Animal Crossing: New Horizons game as you’d expect. A number of screenshots are shown and none of them are new as far as we can tell, but we do see three new villager renders of Jay, Rosie, and Goldie.
