Pocket Camp Club Bag Sweepstakes winners announced, here’s how to check if you won

The winners of Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp’s promotional giveaway for the launch of the Pocket Camp Club subscription service have finally been announced!

As part of the giveaway, 22,222 winners across five countries had a chance to win a physical Pocket Camp Club Bag mailed to them that resembles the in-game bag model used when exchanging items with a villager or digging up a lost item in Pocket Camp and other Animal Crossing games.

To find out if you won in the giveaway, you can login to Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp and a notice should pop-up if you won informing you of your great victory. Beyond the pop-up, the notice can be found under the ‘For You’ section when you open the Notices menu.

But there is one more way you can find out if you won without having to login to Pocket Camp, which could be useful if you have stopped playing the game since November or don’t have access to your phone.

Just head over to the official Pocket Camp Club Sweepstakes page here and click on the ‘Check to see if you won’ button while logged in to your Nintendo Account that was attached to Pocket Camp. If you’re not logged in, you will be prompted to do so.

For this unlucky fellow right here who didn’t win, the page informs me that my Nintendo Account was not selected to win a prize and a quick thank you for participating.

However, there is a small amount of hope for anyone who didn’t win! According to the message displayed, your Nintendo Account can be selected as an alternate prize winner if one of the originally picked winners is determined to be ineligible. Any alternative winners will be notified with in-game direct message.

Ineligible winners could range from someone who signed up despite not having a valid mailing address in one of the eligible sweepstakes countries to a Canadian who unfortunately answers the required by law skill-testing question incorrectly.
