Tomodachi Catalog respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, and shared when you use the Tomodachi Catalog mobile app.
Local Data
Tomodachi Catalog does not require user accounts. We do not ask you to create an account or provide your name, email address, or password to use the core features of the app.
Any custom data and preferences you save in the app are stored locally on your device. We do not host, back up, or access this data on our servers.
You can delete locally stored app data by deleting the app from your device. Depending on your device settings, some app data may also be included in Apple-managed device backups, such as iCloud backups.
Third-Party Services
Tomodachi Catalog uses third-party services for analytics, advertising, and in-app purchase management. These services may collect information from or about your device and app usage, such as device identifiers, advertising identifiers where permitted, IP address, approximate location, app interactions, crash logs, diagnostics, ad interactions, and purchase-related information.
We use the following services:
- Google Analytics for Firebase to understand app usage, performance, and crashes.
- Google AdMob to show ads and measure ad performance.
- RevenueCat to manage and verify in-app purchases, including the Ad-Free Pro purchase.
- Apple App Store to process payments and refunds.
These third-party services process information according to their own privacy policies and terms.
Ads and Tracking
Tomodachi Catalog may show ads through Google AdMob.
Where required, the app may ask for permission to track your activity across apps and websites owned by other companies. You can allow or deny this permission through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt and can change your choice later in iOS Settings.
If you decline tracking permission, ads may still appear, but they may be less personalized.
Depending on your region, you may also be shown consent options related to personalized ads, analytics, or similar data uses.
In-App Purchases
Tomodachi Catalog offers an optional Ad-Free Pro in-app purchase.
All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect or store your credit card number, billing details, or App Store payment information.
RevenueCat helps us validate purchases, unlock ad-free access, restore purchases, prevent fraud, and troubleshoot purchase issues. RevenueCat may process purchase receipts, product identifiers, transaction status, entitlement status, anonymous app user identifiers, device/app information, and related diagnostic information.
Refunds and billing issues are handled by Apple. Refund eligibility is determined by Apple.
How Information Is Used
Information collected through third-party services may be used to:
- Operate and improve the app
- Understand app usage and performance
- Diagnose crashes and technical issues
- Show and measure ads
- Validate and restore in-app purchases
- Prevent fraud or abuse
- Comply with legal, platform, or security requirements
We do not use your locally saved data for analytics or advertising because we do not access that data.
Data Retention and Deletion
Locally stored data remains on your device until you delete it or uninstall the app.
Deleting the app deletes local app data from your device, but it may not delete information already processed by Apple, Google, RevenueCat, or other third-party providers. Those providers retain and delete data according to their own policies.
Children’s Privacy
Tomodachi Catalog is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date above.
