Animal Crossing: New Leaf sold 1.19 million copies between North America and Europe in June
Alright, we all know that Animal Crossing: New Leaf has been an absolute blockbuster for sales in Japan, but how is it doing in North America and Europe? Well, pretty well it seems!
Nintendo reported to investors today that Animal Crossing: New Leaf managed to sell 1.19 million copies overseas during the month of June. That’s quite an impressive number for Animal Crossing outside of Japan in just 3 weeks of time.
Overseas can technically cover everywhere outside of Japan, including South Korea, but for the purpose of this article it’s a pretty safe bet that a vast majority of these sales came from North America and Europe.
The even juicer information will come when the sales data for July is revealed, but we’ll have to wait a little while longer for that. Either way, it’s very good to see such impressive sales overseas. I’m sure Nintendo will be pleased. 🙂
