Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer website opens and initial advertising begins in North America

The official website for Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer in North America has just gone live, plus the start of the online advertising campaign for the game!
There’s not a lot of content to the new website yet, although there’s some really nice artwork and screenshots on display right now, and hovering over the little purple house icons offers up some additional information. Check the website out for yourself here.
We spotted the new Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer website from some initial online advertising for the game Nintendo has begun to run which links to the new website. Here are four Google Search advertisements we found for the game so far:
Interestingly enough, Nintendo looks to be simply advertising Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer as just the latest and newest Animal Crossing game for the 3DS, without much indication that this is a spin-off till, and not really what you would expect from a new Animal Crossing game.
Plus, the official Animal Crossing Twitter account maintained by Isabelle has posted an update announcing that the new character Lottie from Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer will be taking over the account shortly to promote the game.

Between the Google Search advertisements, the Twitter update, and website update it’s clear that Nintendo of America’s campaign for Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer is starting up now, so get ready for the news to start rolling in again soon after a couple weeks of peacefulness.
If the special edition Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer new Nintendo 3DS XL system is coming to North America, an announcement should be coming any time now alongside the confirmation of Animal Crossing amiibo Card pricing. Fingers crossed!
