Animal Crossing: amiibo Festival Japanese Overview Trailer; shows off Island Escape mode, mini-games, and amiibo levels

Nintendo has dropped a new comprehensive  Japanese overview trailer for the upcoming Animal Crossing: amiibo Festival on Wii U, check it out!

The new five minute video gives us a detailed look at the main board game mode with its unique seasons and holidays, as well as our first look at the previously mentioned Island Escape mode and mini-games.

There looks to be a levels feature attached to the amiibo figures as well, allowing you to earn experience and clothes through gameplay leveling up your characters. Some sort of plaza tickets currency seems to be present as well and ties into the mini-games with Animal Crossing amiibo Cards, but it’s hard to tell exactly how yet.

Plus, we’ve got a release date for the game finally, at least in Japan. Animal Crossing: amiibo Festival will launch in the region on November 21st. Stay tuned to Animal Crossing World for lots more on this title as we get more information.
