The brand new upcoming pink Coral Nintendo Switch Lite system has finally been announced for release in Europe!

Announced by Nintendo of Europe today, the Coral Nintendo Switch Lite console will launch in the United Kingdom and other countries in the region starting on April 24th next month. Pre-orders are now available at the Nintendo Official UK Store here.

It’s worth noting that the system isn’t officially called pink anywhere in its name, but there’s obviously a heavy amount of pink-like color inside this console regardless! The Coral Nintendo Switch Lite joins the existing standard line-up of grey, turquoise, and yellow colors.

If you want a better peek at how the new Coral Switch Lite actually looks outside of a render, the fun new color has been heavily featured in various marketing and commercials for Animal Crossing: New Horizons, like the adorable lengthy advertisement seen above.

And in case you missed the news previously, the Coral Nintendo Switch Lite will also be coming to North America a bit earlier than Europe on April 3rd for $199.99 USD / $259.99 CAD. Pre-orders are already open at Amazon US here and Best Buy Canada here.

In both cases of North America and Europe though, it’s quite disappointing that the console won’t be releasing until after Animal Crossing: New Horizons on March 20th. The system launches on that day in Japan with New Horizons, which really seems like the best scenario for everyone.
