You’ve probably gotten an exclusive Mom’s Knapsack or Kitchen Mat item from your virtual Mom in Animal Crossing: New Horizons this month, but which version did you get?

That’s right — there’s actually eight different design variations for the Mom’s Knapsack that you can receive in the mail from Mom! It’s a random pick as to which one she’ll send to you, but there’s nothing stopping you from trading with a friend online to get a different design you both may prefer.

For players in the Southern Hemisphere, they likely received the Mom’s Kitchen Mat item this month instead of the Knapsack. There’s four different variations for the Kitchen Mat as well, which we’ve included below the Knapsacks in the list below.

Didn’t get a letter from Mom yet with the Mom’s Knapsack or Kitchen Mat item? First of all — make sure you’re playing in real-time during May as we believe this item is particularly sent out for this month. Secondly, we have heard reports going around of some players not receiving the item in their mailbox at the start of the month.

Many of these players have said they got their letter from Mom in the mail later in the month on May 2nd, 3rd, or 4th after missing out on it at the start of this month, but we’ve seen others say they still haven’t yet received the item.

We’re not certain whether this is some bug with the delivery of items from Mom in Animal Crossing: New Horizons right now, or whether these items are just intended to be distributed randomly within the first week or so of the month.

Personally, I received the Flowers version and I’m pretty disappointed! The flowers themselves are nice, but I really don’t care for the grey color scheme and would much prefer a more colorful one.
