In the latest Animal Crossing Direct, Nintendo announced a collaboration amiibo card series between Sanrio and Animal Crossing bringing Hello Kitty with other Saniro inspired characters and furniture to Animal Crossing: New Leaf.
The Animal Crossing: New Leaf Welcome amiibo update doesn’t just support the Animal Crossing amiibo figures as you’d predictably expect.
You wouldn’t be crazy to think from the name that there’s nothing to the Animal Crossing: New Leaf Welcome amiibo update if you don’t own any amiibo, but thankfully you’d be wrong too.
One highlight of the Animal Crossing: Welcome amiibo update are the “new” returning villagers coming to the game through the new campground RV trailers and amiibo cards.
The Animal Crossing Direct just happened and it started off with a pretty big bombshell — the update is already available right now on the Nintendo eShop in all major regions!
