About the game:
The charming and popular community building franchise is back for the fourth time with “Animal Crossing: New Leaf” for the Nintendo 3DS. Players live as characters in a rural village populated with anthropomorphic animals and can customize their personal appearances and living spaces, collect and barter items from around the village and socialize with fellow residents by playing games, sending letters or interacting on-line via Nintendo Wi-Fi. A new game mechanic lets players take on the role of Mayor, with the ability to customize other houses, fences, yards and more. The guide features tips on being the Mayor, a detailed furniture and accessories catalog and checklists that describe and keep track of every collectible.
The description says that it’s a “trim size for portability” which is great, but the page number may be a bit misleading then as the pages will be smaller. Anyway, do you plan on picking up the guide? Let us know in the comments below! I know I’ll be getting it.
The latest DLC item coming to Animal Crossing: New Leaf has just been announced by Nintendo. Players of the Japanese and Korean versions of the game will be able to pick up a Cherry Blossom Clock through Spotpass starting April 1st until April 30th.
Don’t forgot to pick up your Futaba Table DLC if you haven’t yet, its distribution period ends on March 31st! Both Japanese and Korean players can receive the item.
If you’ve been watching the recent videosout of PAX East, you’ve probably noticed that in all of the videos the presenter says “Club LOL”. Previously, we were under the impression it was called Club 101. At first, we thought it may have been a mistake but that may not be the case. Keep reading to learn why…
Today we have two more gameplay videos of the English version of Animal Crossing: New Leaf once again from PAX East. To be quite honest, these videos are very similar to the previous video but I know many of you are hungry for videos so I’m posting them anyway.
The stock of items in the shops are different though, so that’s something. Also, the island gameplay will be slightly different of course. It’s also worth noting that in both of these videos the club was once again pronounced “Club LOL”. Take it as you will.
We’ve got 15 minutes of English footage from Animal Crossing: New Leaf straight out of PAX East thanks to Kotaku. Check it out!
Note: In this video, the speaker pronounces the club as “Club LOL”. We believe this to be a mistake as the sign and all previous information points to Club 101.
