The January 2013 DLC delivery schedule for Animal Crossing: New Leaf
The Animal Crossing: New Leaf DLC schedule for January 2013 has been announced by Nintendo. Check out these two new DLC items after the break that owners of a Japanese copy can receive next month!
Animal Crossing: New Leaf is the first Nintendo 3DS game to pass 2 million sold in Japan
Big congratulations to Animal Crossing: New Leaf. You’re the first Nintendo 3DS game to pass 2 million copies sold in Japan according to Famitsu! It’s kind of ridiculous how fast New Leaf sold compared to other 3DS titles, just look at the animated graph above. (New Leaf is the big blue spike at the end!)
Mario Kart 7 and Super Mario 3D Land are close to hitting the 2 million mark but that’s over the span of 14 months while New Leaf has reached this mark in less than 2 months. Very impressive indeed.
There’s certainly no danger of the Animal Crossing franchise coming to an end any time soon based on these massive sales. Animal Crossing for the Wii U anybody?!?!
Winter themed Animal Crossing: New Leaf wallpaper now available for download!
Nintendo has updated their Japanese website with some brand new Winter themed wallpaper for Animal Crossing: New Leaf. You can use these image files as a background for your computer, tablet or smartphone.
Snowman Family and Jingle wallpapers are available in both horizontal and vertical versions. Click here to view and download them!

The many Town Halls of Animal Crossing: New Leaf
Today we’re taking a look at the various Town Hall designs that can be built in Animal Crossing: New Leaf. There are a few requirements for these so let’s go over those:
First, you are required to have Perfect Town status to build one of these designs. Perfect Town status is when you have what the game considers to be a “perfect” town. The criteria for this includes the right amount of trees/flowers in each section of your town, no weeds, and no items/garbage lying on the ground.
The wackiest new villager in Animal Crossing: New Leaf
Finally, Nintendo delivers what we’ve all been waiting for: A clown sheep villager! Or something. Who even knows… But seriously, what a wacky new villager to add in to the game! This is why I love Nintendo so much at times.
