Target flyer confirms Animal Crossing: New Horizons Journal with Calendar pre-order bonus

3 months ago 2 Comments

A second Animal Crossing: New Horizons pre-order bonus for America has finally been officially revealed and this time we have the Animal Crossing: New Horizons Journal with Calendar that our source confirmed earlier in the month!

The Animal Crossing: New Horizons Journal pre-order bonus has been spotted in a leak of this week’s upcoming Target ad flyer where the Journal is prominently displayed next to the game. You can see the ad in the banner above.

Interestingly, the description also mentions a ‘custom 2020 calendar’ which is presumably inside the journal. Whether this is a actually a calendar of New Horizons’ in-game events, which would be simply amazing, or just a blank calendar remains to be seen.

This pre-order bonus isn’t yet mentioned on the Target website, but that’s because this flyer hasn’t yet been officially released. Presumably it will be updated with a larger image of the Journal by this weekend and we’ll be able to get a closer look then. For now, the zoomed in flyer version above is all we have.

In the meantime though, you can still pre-order Animal Crossing: New Horizons at Target here in advance to get the Journal when it is announced, or you can pre-order in-store of course.

The only other previously announced pre-order bonus for Animal Crossing: New Horizons in the United States comes from Best Buy in the form of an Animal Crossing Phone & Tech Badge. It looks to be essentially a sticker badge intended to be placed on the back of your phone, laptop, or other device.

You can get the Animal Crossing Tom Nook Phone & Tech Badge with pre-order of Animal Crossing: New Horizons at Best Buy here. Personally, we think the Target Journal with Calendar is a far more appealing option, but each to their own.

And if you’re from Europe, a variety of other pre-order bonuses have been announced there. United Kingdom fans can get an Animal Crossing Tote Bag or set of Animal Crossing Keyrings for example.

Other than Best Buy and Target, no other pre-order bonuses have yet been announced for Animal Crossing: New Horizons in America. The big two remaining stores that still haven’t announced are GameStop and Walmart, so we’ll be waiting on them now.

I’m not sure how often Walmart offers pre-order bonuses though, so they might not have one, but GameStop is highly likely to offer something if Best Buy and Target both are. Stay tuned — we’ll keep you updated right here as always!

Animal Crossing: New Horizons launches worldwide in less than two months from now on March 20th! Check out our release date countdown here, or pre-order the game here. Stay tuned to Animal Crossing World for more news as we approach the release!

Hmmm not a fan of either US bonus so far. Hopefully GameStop offers something better.

Season

Aw it’s cuter than I was expecting! But I’m still crossing my fingers for an exclusive switch ;u;
