Nook Tails Animal Crossing: New Horizons Comic Series Gets New Version 3.0 Entry

The Nook Tails, a series of official mini comics (manga) promoting Animal Crossing: New Horizons created by Nintendo, are back again to celebrate the Version 3.0 Update!

Originally released in the lead up to the game’s launch in early 2020, an eighth installment was last published on the first anniversary of Animal Crossing: New Horizons in 2021. Now, another 5 years later, a ninth edition has been released introducing the story of Kapp’n and Tom Nook working together to open the new Resort Hotel!

The latest Part 9 released on January 16th, 2026 can be found below, followed by all of the previously released editions from 2020 and 2021 compiled underneath if you haven’t seen them before, or just want to read them again after so many years! This includes some parts translated into English by fans as Nintendo did not officially localize all of them.

That covers all nine parts released in the Animal Crossing: New Horizons Nook Tails comic series! We’d be certainly shocked if any more entries come out, but we said that 5 years ago when the last one came out, so you never know…
