Every Animal Crossing: New Horizons Fish & Bug Leaving After March in April (Northern Hemipshere)

2 months ago 23 Comments

The month of March is rapidly coming to an end, so it’s time to start checking your Museum to make sure you’ve caught and donated every creature leaving Animal Crossing: New Horizons when April begins!

For those unfamiliar, different fish and bug creatures appear on an Animal Crossing island depending on the current month from the real-time clock. This means that after the month of March ends, some fish and bugs will be unavailable to catch on your island until later in the year.

It’s important to be sure you catch all of the fish and bugs that leave in a month, and ideally donate them to the Museum, so you don’t have to wait potentially months to be able to do so again whenever they return.

That’s why we’ve made this list of every Animal Crossing: New Leaf fish and bug creature that’s currently available to catch in March, but will be leaving once April begins! We’ll tell you when and where you can find the create, plus information on when you can next catch it.

Please note that this list only applies to Northern Hemisphere islands. If you play on a Southern Hemisphere island and would like to help us out, please feel free to share which creatures are leaving for you in the comments.

Hey! I just caught an emperor butterfly at 5:50 pm. The chart in game appears to show 5 pm to 8 am.

When the PM comes before the AM means that the availability “cycles” (the beginning and the end are painted, but the middle is blank)
