Visit The Official Nintendo Dream Island Decorated With Mario Items, Earn Towards Free Mario Pins

The official dream island created by Nintendo in Animal Crossing: New Horizons has been updated today with a Super Mario themed makeover!

Inside this delightful island designed by Nintendo themselves, you’ll find all of the newly introduced Super Mario items used to decorate the island’s top right landscape including coins, blocks, shells, and mushroom platforms.

The island designer at Nintendo has cleverly used the landscape to create a sort of jump course taking you through a linear path full of Super Mario obstacles by jumping over gaps, eventually leading you to a Flag Pole finish line with confetti.

If you’re interested, you can easily visit the ‘Ninten’ dream island yourself by hopping into a bed, heading off to dream with Luna, and entering in the following Dream Code: DA-6382-1459-4417.

It’s too bad Nintendo didn’t take the time to remake the entire island into Super Mario theming though, instead of choosing to only focus on a small section. A missed opportunity in our eyes!

But there is one more special bonus. Visiting the official Nintendo dream island in Animal Crossing: New Horizons will earn you a completed mission point towards the Super Mario 35th Anniversary collectible pin set available on My Nintendo! That’s a real physical item you can get as a prize for completing enough missions.

Note that claiming these Super Mario pins is quite a complicated affair involving 15 different missions that must be completed, including one that requires purchasing the Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury game. So you’ve still got to do more than just visit an Animal Crossing island.
