Animal Crossing: New Leaf releases on June 9th in North America, June 14th in Europe
Straight from the latest Nintendo Direct, Nintendo has announced Animal Crossing: New Leaf will be arriving in North America on June 9, 2013 and in Europe on June 14, 2013! Check out all of the videos from Nintendo Direct over here.
Animal Crossing: New Leaf presence in tomorrow’s Nintendo Direct confirmed by YouTube thumbnails
You know that Nintendo Direct happening in 10 hours? We can now confirm that Animal Crossing: New Leaf will be shown in tomorrow’s North American Direct due to a thumbnail for a private video linked in Nintendo’s 3DS playlist on YouTube.
There are also a few more smaller thumbnails you can see below:
As for the actual video, you’ll have to wait until tomorrow for the full Nintendo Direct of course. Hopefully, this is a nice sneak preview for everyone! Stay tuned to the blog tomorrow morning for the full video and details!
UPDATE: The videos seem to have been removed from the playlist but the thumbnails are still on YouTube servers.

Valentine’s Day Nintendo Direct coming tomorrow at 6AM PST/9AM EST/2PM GMT!
Prepare yourselves, a new Nintendo Direct presentation is coming tomorrow for both North America and Europe simultaneously at 6AM PST/9AM EST/2PM GMT. UPDATE: A Japanese version has been announced as well!
According to Nintendo of America, expect the presentation to cover upcoming Nintendo 3DS and Wii U games. However, the European page only says to expect the latest on Nintendo 3DS games.
Hopefully, we will see a new English trailer for the game with an update for the general time frame we should expect it. I personally feel it’s a little too early to get an exact release date, but it’s always possible. I’m prepared to eat my hat!
