Also just in from the latest Nintendo Direct is the official Japanese box-art for Animal Crossing 3DS! It’s pretty awesome if you ask me. Hopefully the North American box-art will be just as great.

Incase you were curious, Nintendo of America has confirmed to IGN that they will be not be hosting a corresponding Nintendo Direct tonight. That basically means don’t expect any details for North America tonight such as a release date. We’ll probably get a Japanese release date though.
Ladies and gentlemen, this is what you’ve been waiting for since June. Nintendo has just announced an upcoming Nintendo Direct event at 8PM (Japan Time) on August 29th (Wednesday). At this time no regional events (America/Europe) have been announced however this may change soon.
It should be noted that Nintendo has said to expect no Wii U information so this event should be 3DS focused! Stay tuned as usual on this blog for all the latest news.

A few weeks back there were a few pages in the Japanese magazine Famitsu showing Animal Crossing 3DS but of course we couldn’t really read it. I posted a video on here analysing the pages but it wasn’t really a translation. However, there’s now some translated details coming from Nintendo Everything.
