It’s Girl’s Day in Japan today and of course there’s a mini holiday in Animal Crossing: New Leaf for it! You might also know it by Doll Festival or Girl’s Festival. The Girl’s Day holiday doesn’t have a whole lot to it in New Leaf but we’ll talk about what there is anyway!
We’ve just gotten word of the latest DLC item for Animal Crossing: New Leaf in Japan and South Korea. Starting March 1st until March 31st, you’ll be able to pick up a Futaba Table from the Post Office through SpotPass.
And yes, it’s coming to South Korea as well at the same time. It seems that the plan going forward is to release all DLC to both regions simultaneously. Good news if you ask me.

Animal Crossing: New Leaf was finally given a release date for North America and Europe a few weeks ago but until now the official Australian date was in question. However, Nintendo of Australia has updated their website to state that New Leaf is coming to the country on June 15th. (and New Zealand)
We have nearly every major region covered with an official release date now! I think that’s something to celebrate considering how long it’s been. As a reminder, New Leaf releases on June 9th in North America and June 14th in Europe.
