Animal Crossing collectors will soon be able to pick up an Animal Crossing Isabelle amiibo figure in North America without purchasing the complete Animal Crossing: amiibo Featival bundle.
A number of previously unseen amiibo figures from all Nintendo franchises have been spotted today from retailer displays, including Animal Crossing figures!
It looks like the upcoming Lottie Animal Crossing figure may be exclusive to Target stores in the United States according to leaked stock information from stores.
While the press release Nintendo sent out earlier today including new Animal Crossing details didn’t say much about Animal Crossing: amiibo Festival, it appears a slightly different version was available on Nintendo.com at some point today according to Google cache, with further details on the game.
One of the most common sentiments I’ve heard from Animal Crossing fans after the announcement of Animal Crossing: amiibo Festival has been something along the lines of “Well, even if it is good, I’m not gonna have anyone to play it with anyway…”
Hold on there! What’s this? An intriguing image was spotted on Nintendo of Europe’s servers today revealing the existence of four Animal Crossing amiibo figures just ahead of Tuesday’s Nintendo Digital Event at E3 2015.
Remember, retailers can be wrong and this is not an official confirmation. However, the bundle appearing 2 days before a 3DS Nintendo Direct is certainly suspicious. We’ll let you know if there’s any updates or listings from other retailers.
UPDATE: ShopTo has since removed the page from their website. Was it a mistake or did Nintendo tell them to take it down? Find out on the Nintendo Direct tomorrow I guess!
