How to Find and Collect First Anniversary Gyroidites

In this event, you’ll be hunting down and collecting special First Anniversary Gyroidites to craft event clothing. They’re a special item that appear in-game almost anywhere across the map during the event. The only locations you won’t find them is at your campsite or garden, so that means you can even find them at the Marketplace or OK Motors!

Sometimes you’ll see them in plain sight on the ground, while other times they are cleverly hidden behind obstructions or inside trees. Regardless of where it is, just tap the First Anniversary Gyroidite when you see one somewhere to have your character pick it up and add it to your collection!

As for timing and when they spawn, there’s two important things you need to know about hunting down First Anniversary Gyroidites:

• First Anniversary Gyroidites appear at a rate of about one per ten minutes in a random location while you’re actively playing somewhere they can spawn, which is basically anywhere besides your campsite and garden.
• If you close Pocket Camp or exclusively play in your campsite and garden for at least half an hour, a batch of ten First Anniversary Gyroidites will spawn across the map in various locations.

Remember that no matter what, there’s always a hard limit of ten First Anniversary Gyroidites that can be present on the map at once. So there’s absolutely no point in waiting all day for them to ‘stack up’ and collect many at a time — your best bet is to keep checking on the game throughout the day with the cap of ten at a time in place!

There’s two other ways to collect First Anniversary Gyroidites besides just hunting in the map locations though! They can be found in the Shovelstrike Quarry at select random times during the event. Seek help from five friends to enter for free each day, or pay up 20 Leaf Tickets to get in. Villagers at your campsite can give them as a gift too sometimes when you speak to them, so don’t forget to check on them.

How to Craft First Anniversary Clothing

Got some sweet First Anniversary Gyroidites in your inventory from collecting all day? Time to start crafting this event’s first anniversary party clothing! Get started by tapping on the Event tab in the Craft menu at the bottom of your screen. Tap on an item to begin crafting it assuming you’ve collected enough clams!

This event features a complete set of EIGHT first anniversary articles of clothing and accessories. Here’s the complete list of what you can craft with First Anniversary Gyroidites during Gyroidite Scavenger Hunt #5:

By completing these goals, you can unlock important First-Anniversary Candles for progress towards the First Anniversary Seasonal Event in November. Up to 30 First-Anniversary Candles and 50 free Leaf Tickets can be earned.
