The Kudos Goals event has begun in Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp for iOS and Android from December 6th to 13th, 2018. Learn how to add friends, send kudos, and take photos to win free Leaf Tickets and Fortune Cookies!

How to Add Friends, Send Kudos, and Take Photos

There are three types of goals that need to be completed in the Kudos Goals set to earn this event’s free Fortune Cookies and Leaf Tickets.

How to Add Friends

To complete the ‘befriend another player’ or ‘befriend x other players’ goals, you will need to add other players to your Pocket Camp friends list. If you already have the required number of friends, they’ll count retroactively — no need to add dozens more friends!

On the right side of the screen, tap the icon with two players next to each other to open the friends list. With the friends list open, tap the Add button in the bottom right. You can add a friend by entering their Friend ID or use social media sharing to send a friend link.

Another good way to add friends is speak to everyone that appears randomly in map locations, like the Sunburst Island and send them a friend request there.

If you’re still having trouble finding enough friends to add, you can leave a comment in our comments section at the bottom of this guide with your Friend ID. With some luck, other users will come along and add your ID, or leave their own for you to add them!

How to Send Kudos

Completing the ‘give kudos x times’ goals is really easy if you have friends! Just open your friends list and tap the Give Kudos button under people’s names. A recent update changed this behavior so you no longer need to visit a campsite to do so.

Note that you can only send a kudos to a player once per day, but this event lasts for a full week, so just keep hammering those buttons every day!

How to Take Campsite or Cabin Photos

To finish the ‘take a photo at your campsite’ or ‘take 1 photo at your cabin’ goals, you need to use the in-game Camera feature. When at your campsite or cabin, tap the Camera icon on the right side of your screen.

It’s up to you if you want to save the photo or set it as your fave photo, but all you need to do is just take the photo and hit the close button to complete the goals.
