Celebrate Earth Day With New Cool Globe Item In Animal Crossing: New Horizons (Limited Time!)

A brand new seasonal item celebrating the upcoming Earth Day holiday is now available in Animal Crossing: New Horizons today for players to pick up in advance of the day next week!

This marks the final Nook Shopping seasonal item that was introduced into the game’s code with last month’s March Update, with no more upcoming items on the way right now, indicating that a new major update is likely around the corner very soon.

Players can pick up the new Cool Globe item in Animal Crossing: New Horizons from the Special Goods of Nook Shopping for 2,300 Bells from April 15th, 2021 until April 22nd, 2021 to celebrate the environmental awareness Earth Day holiday.

Here’s the official description from Nintendo for ‘Nature Day’, as it’s known in-game:

Use this day to think about and take action for the Earth’s environment. Pick up trash, plant trees, recycle… No matter where you live, there are many ways to do your part to make the world a healthier, happier place.

The Cool Globe joins the existing regular Globe item within Animal Crossing: New Horizons that comes in three different variations of Cool, Sepia, and Standard.

As shown in Nintendo’s official example, the Cool Globe makes for a perfect fit in a library or office room surrounded by items like the Trophy Case or Wood Bookshelf! There’s lots of potential here for sure.
