Where To Buy Adorable Animal Crossing: New Horizons Plushies Releasing This Summer

3 years ago 3 Comments

A new fresh collection of officially licensed Animal Crossing: New Horizons plushies are on the way this summer, featuring some of the game’s newest characters as well as old returning series favorites. Pre-orders are now available as of May 19th, 2021.

While some poorly made knock-offs have been made available on sites like Amazon since the launch of the game, today’s announcement marks a much higher quality set from respected Japanese manufacturer Sanei. In fact, the same company previously released many of the Animal Crossing: New Leaf plushies you’ve likely seen before.

The fresh ALL STAR Collection for 2021 features six different Animal Crossing: New Horizons characters including Flick, C.J., Pascal, Gulliver, Celeste, and Blathers. More close-up photos of each can be found throughout this article.

Most notable by far for most fans will be the release of both Flick and C.J. as brand new characters to the Animal Crossing series that haven’t received officially licensed plushies yet so far. They both look absolutely stunning in our view, especially with their bug and fish props in hand!

Pre-Order Now From Japan

All six characters from the All-Star Collection for Animal Crossing: New Horizons will be released starting on July 10th, 2021 in Japan. No official overseas release has been announced yet, though we suspect some distributor in North America may pick them up as this occurred with past Animal Crossing: New Leaf plushies.

Good news though — the All-Star Collection is now available for pre-order import shipping internationally at Amazon Japan and Play-Asia. Here’s where you can pre-order each new plushie, with the best in-stock availability currently at Amazon:

Note that we generally prefer to purchase import items from Amazon Japan, as Play-Asia typically sells at a higher markup and shipping, but both retailers are definitely a reputable options you can trust.

Better Than Build-A-Bear?

This upcoming release in Japan certainly shows a deep contrast from the Build-A-Bear collection launched so far. I think most Animal Crossing players would be much more thrilled to see Build-A-Bear focus on releases of characters like Flick and C.J. than Isabelle and Tom Nook!

Hopefully, the upcoming character release from Build-A-Bear due for sometime during this Summer will trend more in that direction.
