Two seasonal items celebrating the upcoming Mother’s Day holiday are now available in Animal Crossing: New Horizons today for players to pick up and add to their collection!

For this year’s Mother’s Day event, the brand new Carnations item has been introduced for 2021, while the Thank-You Mom Mug returns from last year’s 2020 version of the event if you missed it before.

Players can pick up both of these items in Animal Crossing: New Horizons from the Special Goods of Nook Shopping for 1,600 Bells and 600 Bells respectively beginning today throughout the entire month of May.

Here’s the official description from Nintendo for the Mother’s Day shopping event with additional item specific details:

Mother’s Day is a day for saying “thank you” to that warm, loving person who always watches over you.

[Carnations] Why not send these lovely red carnations with a message card?

[Thank-You Mom Mug] What should go into a gift mug? How about all you love, for starters?

If you happen to be fortunate to have a mother that plays Animal Crossing: New Horizons, don’t miss this great opportunity to send her one of these two items through in-game mail on Mother’s Day!

While you’re here, don’t forget to grab two more Nook Shopping items celebrating the Children’s Day holiday in Japan — the Carp Banner furniture and Newsprint Helmet accessory! These are both only available until May 7th.
