New Nook Friday Sale Event Begins Today In Animal Crossing: New Horizons

A brand new event introduced for Version 2.0 has started in Animal Crossing: New Horizons today bringing big discounts on in-game purchases!

In an obvious homage to Black Friday, you can experience a new Nook Friday event beginning the day after Turkey Day and running for a few days until the end of November.

To celebrate Nook Friday, Timmy and Tommy at the Nook’s Cranny shop on your island will be running a limited-time 30% off discount sale on all items sold at their store!

For example, an Ice-Cream Display item usually costs 11,000 Bells, but can be picked up for only 7,700 Bells during the Nook Friday sales period.

This discount applies to large furniture on display in the back row of the shop, smaller furniture in the front row, and items hidden inside the cabinet on the right.

With the many new furniture items introduced in Version 2.0 of Animal Crossing: New Horizons, the event is a great opportunity to start filling up your catalog again — or buy duplicates of items you already have to go and customize them with Reese & Cyrus!

Plus, if you missed out on participating in Thanksgiving’s Turkey Day event yesterday, you can purchase two packs of DIY recipes from the event inside the cabinet including new Cooking DIY recipes added in Version 2.0.
