Wet Suits are an important new item to collect in Animal Crossing: New Horizons (ACNH) allowing you to swim in the ocean! Learn how to get new Wetsuits and see all of the available items in this guide.

What Are Wet Suits For?

In order to take advantage of the Summer Update’s flagship swimming and diving features in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, you’ll need to first obtain a Wet Suit item. These unique clothes you can equip on your character are required to enter the water and begin swimming.

Swimming unlocks the ability to explore the ocean area surrounding your island, dive deep under sea to catch new Sea Creatures for donating to the Museum, and perhaps even discover the Pascal special character if you’re lucky.

How To Get New Wet Suits

Once you’ve updated to Version 1.3.0 of Animal Crossing: New Horizons, a new type of clothing called Wet Suits will become available! The main way to obtain new Wetsuits is for purchase at the Nook’s Cranny shop on your island.

Inside of the cabinet menu of Nook’s Cranny, you can find one randomly selected Wet Suit for sale each day costing 3,000 Bells. There’s a couple different Wet Suits that can appear, and a few color variations for each of them — you can find the complete collection later in this guide.

In addition to Nook’s Cranny, another random Wet Suit can be found for sale each day in your Daily Selection tab under Special Goods in Nook Shopping!

Besides Nook’s Cranny and Nook Shopping, one more Wet Suit is available for purchase exclusively at the Nook Stop Terminal inside of Resident Services. Under the ‘Redeem Nook Miles’ menu, you can exchange 800 Nook Miles for a novelty Nook Inc. Wet Suit! There’s no variations for this one.

Horizontal-Striped Wet Suit (4 Variations)

The Horizontal-Striped Wet Suit can be purchased for 3,000 Bells either inside the cabinet at Nook’s Cranny or randomly in the Special Goods section of Nook Shopping.

There are four different color variations of the Horizontal-Striped Wet Suit: Red, Blue, Yellow, Black. You can see them all below:

Leaf-Print Wet Suit (4 Variations)

The Leaf-Print Wet Suit can be purchased for 3,000 Bells either inside the cabinet at Nook’s Cranny or randomly in the Special Goods section of Nook Shopping.

There are four different color variations of the Leaf-Print Wet Suit: Light Blue, Purple, Yellow, Green. You can see them all below:

Nook Inc. Wet Suit

The Nook Inc. Wet Suit can be purchased for 800 Nook Miles at the Nook Stop Terminal at Resident Services for 800 Nook Miles. There’s only one version with no variants.
